Taking second and advancing to state for the 16th straight year in high kick danceline was just the icing on the cake this week for Faribault Emeralds coach Lois Krinke.

A couple of weeks ago I wrote about the formation of the Faribault High School Coaches’ Council. Now let’s take a look at one of its first endeavors and the information it provided.

Last week, I raised the dander of many in Faribault — and the appreciation of several — with my column on the struggles of many of Faribault High School’s fall and winter teams.

My very first day in Faribault was a Friday afternoon during the first week of March.

In today’s world, there’s the social media and there’s the lost arts. But sometimes, they coalesce into something significant.
